Joseph Britto | Assistant Coach

Former professional basketball player and UMass Dartmouth standout Joseph Britto is set for his first season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Lycoming College.
Britto played two seasons at UMass Dartmouth where he averaged 15.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, earning Little East Conference Player of the Week three times.
Britto spent his first two collegiate basketball seasons with Dean College averaging 14 points and seven rebounds at the then-junior college. Britto helped the Bulldogs win a regional title, earning all-tournament and Second Team All-American accolades.
Following his collegiate career, Britto traveled the world playing professional basketball. He started his professional career in 2005 where he played in France, Portugal, and Africa for the Cape Verdean National team. He has also played in China (CBA), Mexico (LNBP), and America (WBA, ABA, USBL, Pro Am). He reached the NBA Developmental League in 2009.
Britto entered coaching in 2012 when he assisted Bloomsburg for a season before taking over the head  coaching position at Southern Columbia High School. Britto helped lead them to a 74-48 record with four playoff appearances including two of those runs going into the state tournament in five years at the helm.
Britto completed an internship at Bucknell University with the strength and conditioning program, working with all of the men and women sports teams.
Britto earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 2012 and a Master of Science in Exercise Science in 2017 from Bloomsburg University.

Jack McAndrew | Volunteer Assistant Coach

A longtime high school educator and coach, Jack McAndrew is in his fifth year with the Lycoming College men's basketball program as an assistant coach.

In four years with the program, McAndrew has helped the team post a 80-30 record, win back-to-back MAC Commonwealth titles in 2016 and 2017 and finish first in the MAC Commonwealth regular season in 2015 and 2017. He has also helped coach seven all-conference selections.

Prior to Lycoming, McAndrew was the Warrior Run High School boys' basketball coach and he also coached soccer at the school. He served as a language arts teacher at the school for 29 years.
